Free vs paid
Test the schema free. Add US prices on Starter.
Choose TheRundown for odds and scores joined under one event ID, with participant and signed-line identities and explicit price closure signals. Request the books and markets your application uses, then measure X-Datapoints. Paid subscriptions have a fixed fee and included volume; unrequested price rows conserve that volume without reducing the base fee. Free covers DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM pre-match game lines with a five-minute delay. Polymarket US is not included.
Polymarket US starts on Starter ($49 a month) with a 60-second delay for internal or personal use. Pro ($149 a month) adds commercial end-user display and a 30-second delay. Ultra ($399 a month) delivers available prices in real time over REST and WebSocket. Real-time delivery does not add an in-game US feed.
Questions
Before you build.
Plans, markets, books, and IDs for the Polymarket US odds API.
- Are Polymarket US and Polymarket the same API source?
- No. In TheRundown API, Polymarket US is affiliate 31 and global Polymarket is affiliate 26. Request either ID or both, and read their prices under separate keys. This page describes TheRundown access to Polymarket US prices, not an official Polymarket US developer program.
- How do I request Polymarket US odds?
- Choose Starter or above, send your TheRundown API key in the X-TheRundown-Key header, and set affiliate_ids=31 on an events request. Add other affiliate IDs to compare sources without changing your parser.
- Is Polymarket US included on the free API plan?
- No. Free includes DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM pre-match game lines with a five-minute delay. Polymarket US and global Polymarket start on Starter. You can test the shared response shape on Free.
- Which Polymarket US markets did you verify?
- NFL, NBA, and NHL moneylines, spreads, totals, and alternate lines; NFL passing, rushing, and receiving yards; and NFL team totals. The sample dates and market IDs are listed above. Coverage varies by source, sport, game, and market.
- Are Polymarket US prices returned as cents or odds?
- The example uses American odds: a negative price shows the stake needed to win $100, and a positive price shows the profit on a $100 stake. The API can include liquidity_usd when a current liquidity reading is available; do not assume that optional field is always present.
- Does real-time WebSocket access include in-game Polymarket US odds?
- Polymarket US has a pre-match-only source feed, with no separate in-game feed. Ultra streams changes to its available prices in real time; it does not turn those prices into in-game markets. Keep source coverage separate from the delivery speed of your API plan.
